PLEASE READ THIS ABOUT THE PRODUCT:
It is 2U (3.5") high by standard 19" wide. This rack mount will work on WOUXUN KG UV950P radios plus is available for QYT series of KT-UV950 or 980P radios. They are quite similar; possibly made by the same manufacturer HOWEVER please do contact us to discuss your specific radio before actually placing the order so we get it right for you.
The speaker used is our latest 2U sized speaker good for 5 watt peak audio, See the PDF to get an idea of the all-new Magnetic Mike Clip we use; it is the greatest! It converts the aluminum hanger "post" on the back to steel so it will stick to the magnet; you twist your hand a little and the magnet lets go; the mike comes straight off the panel and you don't scratch the metal. Absolutely the greatest!
Next is the power supply; these units are 55 watts of RF out on UHF; that means it needs somewhere around 15 amps of DC to power it but the factory does not specify (if you have one let us know if otherwise OK?) The one YOU get is 30 amps and works on 120 Volts or 230 volts AC power as it will accommodate that dual-voltage.
Picture #1 of the PDF image (derived from our CAD system) is what you actually receive;
the one showing the radio is an old product we made last year and that is the only "as-built" image we have to show the general idea but the mike clip is not the same and the speaker is much larger now. Everything got improved but we don't own the radio AND the standard disclaimer is that you don't get a radio with what we provide; we bet you knew that but we have to say it since every so often we get a message about it. No it isn't included.
Now on to important stuff!  The panel doesn't bolt to the tray UNLESS you want to order a set of optional corner brackets for an extra but almost no one gets them....they really aren't that important.
