    Description

I use old style, mil. surplus, manual stencil machines.   Place the oilboard in it and pull the handle each time for a letter/number.   The 1/2" and 1" are Ideal, the 1/4" and 3/4" are Marsh and the 1 3/4" is an ancient Diagraph model. I can cut what ever stencil you need, especially caliber for ammo cans.
I take the time to tighten up the letters/numbers, especially the "1", "I"  and numbers after a period.  It's more work for me but the end result is your  painted stencil looks a lot better, in my opinion.  See the Example pic.
Custom .30-30 stencil, cut on premium oil board for repeated use. ½? characters.
The can photos are an example of how one looks stenciled.  They are not for sale.
If you use ammo cans, storage bins, etc. to store stuff, stencils are a great way to  label what is in them. I use a lot of ammo cans for storage and like to mark the front  of the can/container so it will be visible when on shelves, in a locker, or stacked.
    I can cut whatever you need in ¼?, ½" , ¾? or 1?, 1 ¾? letters/numbers.
Most ½? will work on the front of a .30 caliber can, if it is a long  one it will take two lines, or abbreviate it. Works great on .50, SAW, and other cans  or containers. ¼? also works well on the 50 & 100 round plastic ammo boxes,  tool box drawers, file cabinets, shelves, or whatever you need to label.
Any questions, please ask or send me an email.
    The end of a .30 cal can will use up to: 7 - ½? characters/spaces OR 4 - ¾? characters/spaces.
    The end of a .50 cal can will use up to: 12 - ½? characters/spaces OR 7 - ¾? characters/spaces.
    The end of a S.A.W. can (Fat 50) will use up to: 14 - ½? characters/spaces OR 8 - ¾? characters/spaces.
Following is a guide of how many characters per foot my machines cut:
    ¼? is 43 characters/spaces per foot.
    ½? is 23 characters/spaces per foot.
    ¾? is 16 characters/spaces per foot.
    1? is 14 characters/spaces per foot.
This will help determine the size you need:
