(Part 4229) This is an AMP, 90265-1, Type F, crimping tool. It is used and has some engraving on it, however, it is in good condition.
Information taken from TE Connectivity Instruction Sheet 408-7521:
Hand Crimping Tool 90265--1 is
used to crimp AMPLIMITE* Size 20 DF pin and
socket contacts  onto wire sizes 24
through 20 AWG with a maximum insulation diameter
of 1.73 mm [.068 in.].
The tool features a fixed die (crimper), movable die
(anvil), contact support, locator/wire stop, and a
ratchet. When mated, the dies form two crimping
chambers. The FRONT of the tool, into which the
contact is inserted, has the tool number marked on it.
The BACK of the tool, into which the wire is inserted,
has a color dot code marked above each crimping
chamber to indicate the applicable wire size range.
The contact support prevents the contact from
bending during the crimping operation. The
locator/wire stop positions the contact between the
dies before crimping and limits the insertion distance
of the stripped wire into the contact. In use, it rests in
the locator slot of the contact.
The ratchet assures full crimping of the contact. Once
engaged, the ratchet will not release until the handle s
have been FULLY closed.
