    Antique New Wharf Pottery 16" Serving Platter SEVERS Green Transferware c1880
    This is a wonderful large antique oval platter which measures 16 1/8" by 11 1/2" x 1 3/4" deep. This platter is marked with the pattern name "SERVERS" and "Semi-Porcelain", the manufacturer "NEW WARF POTTERY", "ENGLAND" with the Rd No 412412. There is also an impressed "80". The Nww Warf Pottery, Burslem, Staffordshire dates between 1878-1891. Believe this platter dates to the 1880s. This platter is in very good condition with an aging imperfection with a stain (please refer to photos). This imperfection appears as a crack on top surface, however does not show on bottom of platter. There are no chips or cracks.
