ORIGINAL U.S. 1981 ' WATCHING THE WHEELS ' 7" PICTURE SLEEVE SIGNED ON THE FRONT BY THE SLEEVE PHOTOGRAPHER, THE LATE MR. PAUL GORESH!
VINTAGE U.S. 1981 " WATCHING THE WHEELS " PICTURE SLEEVE SIGNED ON THE FRONT BY THE SLEEVE'S COVER IMAGE PHOTOGRAPHER, PAUL GORESH! PAUL WAS A FRIEND OF THE LENNON'S. THE IMAGE WAS ACTUALLY JOHN AND YOKO HEADING TO THE RECORDING STUDIO FOR THE FIRST DAY'S SESSION ON THEIR LEGENDARY ' DOUBLE FANTASY ' ALBUM. YOU'LL NOTE THAT PAUL WAS CREDITED WITH THE COVER PHOTO ON THE BACK OF THE SLEEVE. PAUL WAS HIRED BY THE FAMILY IN 1980 TO PICTURES OF JOHN'S AND SEAN'S BIRTHDAY PARTIES. (Paul also took the photo of John signing MD Chapman's LP cover on Dec. 8, but I'll leave that photo out as I know he much preferred being remembered for the happier times.) THIS SLEEVE WAS SIGNED FOR A FRIEND OF MINE WHO MET PAUL AT THE FEST FOR BEATLES FANS ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO. I personally had the pleasure of meeting Paul when he flew in to meet me in the early 2000s. He was a sweet and humble man. During the course of our long conversation, he never once mentioned his friendship with John. He was anything but egotistical. We just talked about being fans and collectors together! It was a great evening. Enjoy the images above of John and Paul together. This signed item will come with my letter of authenticity.
