    Description

    HELLO
    , and
    WELCOME
    to
    kentuckyrebel'srock'n'rollheaven
, where I've specialized in selling
    MUSIC MEMORABILIA
    for nearly
    TWENTY YEARS
    on
    eBAY
    (and
    MANY MORE YEARS
in the outside world, long before the advent of online auctions)!
    THANKS
, too, for the interest in my music group's last
    CD
    , "
    LISTEN UP... IT'S THE ECHOES
    "--free downloadable samples being
    AVAILABLE ONLINE
    at AllMusic and, of course,
    THE ECHOES OFFICIAL WEBSITE
--and for the overwhelming response to our follow-up
    CD
    , "
    NOW HEAR THIS
," online and in stores now!
    But now, ''
PLEASE ALLOW ME TO INTRODUCE MYSELF
    ...''
The majority of my customers know me, my love of
    ROCK 'N' ROLL MEMORABILIA
    (especially pertaining to the
    BEATLES
    ), and that I've been
    COLLECTING
    for over
    FORTY YEARS
    ; so, while ''
YOU MAY SAY I'M A DREAMER
    ,'' and I could counter with ''
    I AM THE WALRUS
    ,'' I'm neither a ''
    LOSER
    '' nor ''
    THE FOOL ON THE HILL
    ,'' and even "
    YOUR MOTHER SHOULD KNOW
    " this isn't your every day, ''
    RUN OF THE MILL
    '' piece of
    SHEET MUSIC
    ; the
    JOHN VAN HAMERSVELD
, late 60's reissues being some of the most sought after sheets among printed music collecting
    BEATLEMANIACS
, and this one being no exception!
In fact, with a colleague, collector, and customer of mine having recently sold a
    VAN HAMERSVELD
piece in the same ballpark--run an advanced eBay search for sold item # 234095336437 and, while you're at it, run one for one of my own
    VAN HAMERSVELD SHEETS
that recently sold: item # 194255057237; with
both being more widely known than this (albeit still extremely
    HARD TO COME BY
)--neither he, nor any of my other fellow
    FAB FOUR
collecting friends, even knew this particular title existed 'til one showed up on
    eBAY
several months ago. That said, while newbies, nitpickers, and novices are free to complain about my asking price / opening bid, I'm not exactly itching to unload this; but am willing to share the wealth if anyone out there wants to add it to their own
    BEATLES SHEET MUSIC COLLECTION
    .
    Also, given the
    USPS
hasn't exactly had the best track record, as far as delivering packages goes, post-pandemic wise (if you truly believe the worst is over), I've calculated insurance for ,500.00, but will recalculate it for less, should any interested buyer make me an offer I can't refuse. All that said...
    The
    WINNER
    of this "kentuckyrebel"
    AUCTION
    will receive
    ONE
    (1) 100% original,
    RARE
    , and vintage piece of
    SHEET MUSIC
    --published c/o
    WALTER HOFER
    in
    1968
    (468/S/16103)--for the song:
    ''
    TELL ME WHAT YOU SEE
    ,'' as performed by the
    BEATLES
    ,
who are also depicted in a pen-and-ink
    JOHN VAN HAMERSVELD
    illustration on the
    FRONT COVER
    !
    MUSIC
    measures approximately
    8 1/2" x 11
    "
    inches and features
    FOUR
    (4)
    PAGES
    , completely
    INTACT
, with only the customary / expected paper aging--after all, this piece is
    OVER FIFTY
    (50)
    YEARS OLD
--minute corner ''dings'' (although there is a bend / crease in the lower lefthand corner, at bottom of spine, and a faint crease a little over halfway up spine due to a printer's defect), light wear along edges, and a slight ''shadow'' / stain in bottom righthand corner (where original price sticker finally fell off) to mar its beauty.
    Absolutely
    NO
    SEAM SPLITS
    ,
    TAPE
    ,
    TEARS
    ,
    or
    WRITING
    of any kind! Would
    FRAME
    quite
    NICELY
    --my hating to
    GRADE
items anymore since so many sellers seem to abuse the old Goldmine system: adding a plethora of plusses with their own definitions of VG, EX, NM, etc. However, as my
    FEEDBACK STATES
, I don't sell junk (since I, personally, don't like buying junk on eBay--or anywhere else, for that matter); and feel certain that this auction is
    SURE TO PLEASE
    the fellow
    MUSIC COLLECTOR
    and / or
    CONNOISSEUR
    (especially at the
    OPENING BID
    )!*
    NOTE
    : As mentioned above, the
    YELLOW LINES
along the border(s), present in the
    CLOSE-UPS
    /
    SCANS
    , are from my
    SCANNER
    , and are
    NOT ON THE SHEET MUSIC
    itself.
    REPEAT
    : there are
    NO YELLOW LINES
    on the actual
    SHEET MUSIC
    !
    ADDITIONAL NOTE
    : This
    BEATLES
    -related
    AUCTION
    is only
    ONE
    (1) among
    MANY
    I'll be listing
    THIS WEEKEND
    and in the
    MANY MONTHS
to come; so put me on your
    FAVORITE SELLERS
    list, all you
    BEATLEMANIACS
, and sign up for my
    FREE
    eBay store
    NEWSLETTER
    , highlighting
    NEW AUCTIONS
    and special
    SALES
    each week!
    *As both my eBay
    FEEDBACK
    and
    NOTES
    from
    HAPPY BIDDERS
    can attest, I tend to
    GRADE
    my items a bit
    HARSHLY
    ; but would rather a
    WINNING BIDDER
    be pleasantly
    SURPRISED
(as opposed to extremely disappointed) with any
    TRANSACTION
    .
    I always
    COMBINE SHIPPING
on multiple auctions, and prefer to ship items by
    PRIORITY MAIL
    (which will be the
    ONLY OPTION
    for this piece, given its
    UNCOMMONNESS
    and
    VALUE
    ), but do
    REFUND
    any amount overpaid on
    POSTAGE
    --although given I always add
    INSURANCE
, and the fact eBay takes 10% of shipping off the top, I tend to lose money on, rather than profit from,
    POSTAL COSTS
    .
    Reluctantly, with the
    USPS
    having continued to
RAISE THEIR RATES FOR ITEMS LEAVING THE COUNTRY
    --which all but killed my
    OVERSEAS SALES
--coupled with eBay's insisting I provide
    TRACKING
    and PayPal insisting I add
    INSURANCE
    , I joined the eBay
    GLOBAL SHIPPING PROGRAM
in hopes of saving my buyers money, but have since found out that this isn't always so. In cases such as these, I'm more than happy to look into
    OVERSEAS POSTAGE
myself, when asked, and definitely recommend this for buyers wanting to make
    MULTIPLE PURCHASES
    since eBay's
    GLOBAL SHIPPING
    doesn't tend to
    COMBINE SHIPPING
, and I can usually save my customers a considerable amount when handling
    SHIPMENT
    for them directly.
    As this is an
    AUCTION
    --and not a
    DEPARTMENT STORE
    --I don't accept
    RETURNS
; but since I try to be as thorough as possible in my descriptions, always include
    INSURANCE
at my own expense, and (as my
    FEEDBACK
    notes) am known for my
    PACKING ABILITIES
, there should be no foreseeable problems. I'm also known for my "
    LIGHT YEAR
    " / speedy
    SHIPMENT
    upon receiving
    PAYMENT
    ; and always
    NOTIFY
my buyers when payment is received and their item has
    SHIPPED
    !
    THANK YOU
    for looking; and
