    Description

    The setup has an eb301 with on-board Chip antenna.
    With this Chip antenna there is no need for an external Antenna or Cabling and has better range than a PC Board antenna.
    The eb301 is a carrier board that has an eb100 Bluetooth module attached and contains buffers and a voltage regulator. The board runs on 5V and supports RS-232 level Signals. For minimal operation only 4 pins are used, RX,TX, 5V and GND.
    The Bluetooth module uses a simple command set to configure and connect to another device. The data transfer rate of up to 250kbps of continuous data throughput is supported. The module requires 3.3V at 125uA standby and up to 60 mA in pairing mode.
    The module is based on the CSR BlueCore™ Bluetooth Chip. This Chip supports both TTL Serial and USB with very few external components.
    These are great for Arduino to allow wirelessly communication to a PC or Smart Phone. These modules can be either Master or Slave so two modules can talk to each other and either can start the conversation.
