Manufacturer claims this is long range, however, walls will reduce the range by a lot.  I suggest that the use be limited to the room it is located in.  Otherwise, this is a really good device as it will tell you on its screen the device you are pairing to so no blind pairing.  This item also has a volume control that rotates as opposed to a button to push, which is unique and useful.  It is fully tested and it is in new condition and working perfectly.
