Our feathers are from the best bred roosters in the USA, Whiting Farm - Guaranteed!  Reliable sources have told us, Whiting Farms is grading their saddles for either the fashion world or for fly tye shops. Fly tye shops are not receiving fashion quality saddles to deter them from selling to the fashion world.  Fly tye saddles can have thinner, shorter feathers, and broken tips.  Adequate for the fly tye world, but not for the fashion world. These saddles cost less than fashion saddles given the fly tye grading they receive.
Many sellers are advertising Whiting Euro Hackle Feathers but are truly not selling all Whiting Euro, they are receiving lessor quality saddles from fly tye shops, and/or other farmers, then mixing them into their packs.  This is an issue many of the quality feather sellers are competing with as many buyers may not realize they are receiving lower quality feathers. We will not compromise quality, by selling lessor quality feathers, to compete with the outlet shops or other sellers.  Please think about this when comparing pricing. only premium grade feather hair extensions.  Please be aware there are different types (grades) of saddles.  We purchase only quality, premium saddles that yield long feathers in a variety of widths.  Simply put, cheap saddles produce cheap feathers, allowing cheap prices. Our feather are hand dyed right here at our location.  We use only professional dye made for feathers that will not wash out even in Chlorine.
