    Description

Tachometer signal Filter. HEI OEM and aftermarket compatible.
Many General Motors vehicles within the range of 1975-1990 come equipped with this ignition system style and a tachometer type that has a circuit board driving the tachometer.
If your vehicle falls between these years, verify this is the type of ignition system and tachometer in your vehicle.
Provides a stable reliable signal to the Tachometer for better Tachometer response and performance.
This filter removes ignition spikes, voltage surges, electrical noise, causes by High Energy Ignition systems, and some after market ignition modules.
Compatible as an OEM replacement Tachometer filter for GM vehicles. Compatible with aftermarket ignitions systems such as MSD, Holley, Speedmaster.
Compatible with Tachometers that are circuit board driven and some aftermarket tachometers. Not compatible with Tachometers that are simply a coil. Usually that would be 1975 and newer GM vehicles.
Erratic and non-functioning tachometers can be caused by a faulty tachometer signal filter.
Three color-coded wires allow fast and easy fool-proof installation. Provides protection and superior response on all Classic Tachometers.
Includes installation hardware, installation instructions, and trouble shooting tips.
Tachometer signal filters are not a fix-all for tachometer problems. Proper diagnosis should be performed to determine if the signal filter is the problem before replacing it.
