This is a 16 CH UHF GP88 NOT a GP300
It is however in a GP300 case
I have a couple of GP300s and honestly cannot tell them apart
(performance wise)
Good working radio
(I just have too many)
Battery still holds a charge but no guarantee
on the battery or the radio.
Currently this rig is programmed
with HAM FREQS in Southern California area
Amateur Radio License required to transmit on them
and
7 Dispatch Channels of the
Los Angeles County Sheriff Dept (those are receive only)
Speaking of receive, radio does that well
and HAM reports are that it has clear good audio
If you do not know about these radios or
do not have the capability to program them
I have some Baofengs listed in another listing
at the time of this posting
Programming requires a special RIB
as well as software and a
very slow
computer like Windows XP
Therefore, if you are not familiar with them
then this radio probably isn't for you
