This radio came from a government municipality that recently upgraded their equipment.
I ran a google search on the model number and it appears to be a 100 watt VHF radio.
This is the "8" version that indicates the unit has the more desired "high output" PA.
There's a lot of info floating around about using these on the 2m amateur band.
This shelf would make a nice project rig or spare to keep on hand.

The key that's used to unlock and release the handle/mounting plate is

The mounting plate, hardware, bolts, trays, brackets, etc will

Scratches, scrapes, dings, along with previous owner's asset tags, labels, writing, etc are to be expected.
A lot of the units contain some kind of velcro on the top and/or bottom of the case, so assume yours will too.
Some units have oxidation in places, corrosion on the cooling fins, flaking paint, etc. Assume it may need repainted.
Due to these factors, along with the nature and age of the radio, I am listing it as "For Parts or Not Working".
