Up for sale are brand new in the box from the factory, Pyramid Apex Spectra series bill validators, model number S400-UC4-USA, 24 volt MDB only.  They will accept all the latest versions of the through the bill.  This MDB validator comes with a 6 pin Y harness for 24 volt MDB applications.
These will interchange with any comparable Apex 5400 or 7400 series bill validator with the same interface and bezel size.
The harnessing setup with this validator is the same as an MEI 2000 series 24 volt MDB bill validator, or any Coinco BA/Mag/BillPro or Vantage 24 volt MDB bill validator.  This validator comes with a 500 note bill box, and a compact style high visibility bezel as pictured.  Please call the number below if you need a different sized bill box.
The Pyramid Apex series Spectra bill validator features a high visibility bezel, with first-in-the-industry field configuration options.  You can configure this attractive bezel to sport all kinds of light patterns, from a US flag, to a single color sequence.  You can choose from dozens of pre-programmed factory patterns, or you can design your own pattern using the new bezel tools software available on Pyramid's website.
The new bezel is designed to grab customer attention, and increase sales.  The validator is built off the Apex platform, with most of the internal parts remaining the same.  This validator is available in all the regular configurations of MDB, 110 volt, 24 volt, and 12 volt.  Downstacker, VFM, or Coinco Retro style bezels are not available with the Spectra.  You must have a full 3" by 4" opening in whatever machine you want to put this validator in order for it to fit.
Other features of this validator include 4 way bill acceptance (upside down and right side up), advanced anti-stringing technology, easy to update option with a USB cable to your computer, easy access dip switches, and easy interchangeability with other manufacturers (Coinco, MEI).
This validator will replace any MEI or Coinco MDB bill validator, with matching bezels, with no harnessing changes required.
