First the back story behind our by chance purchase of a quantity of these brushes.
Years ago we found a stash of these brushes while touring a soon to be demolished factory building
on the border of Evanston & Chicago. The building was used to manufacture Artist Canvas
& the owners started importing Artist Brushes from a brush factory in Germany, world reknown
for their high quality Red Sable Watercolor Brushes.
Too busy making & selling canvas,the brushes without proper marketing sat on a shelve until we
happened to discover them in a corner of this huge building.After some back & forth we struck
a deal and bought them all.
Stunning both in appearace & performance these full bellied brushes have needle point tips
when loaded and seperate evenly when used for washes & coloring.Just a flick & they regain their
perfect points.The loading capacity is unequaled which eliminates the need for constant reloading.
Polished dark red wood handles double crimpped to the finest metal ferrules.8 1/2" in length.
