Royal & Langnickel’s Jumbo brushes are perfect for artists working on murals or any large scale projects. These extra-large brushes (Size 40) provide control and consistency when painting large surfaces. Multiple synthetic filaments hold more paint, making large jobs faster and more efficient.
The white Taklon brush has a stiffness level considered best for acrylic and medium bodied oil and paints. It is a very durable brush, with seamless corrosion-resistant ferrules which are both glued and nailed to the kiln-dried hardwood handle. The brush is approximately 11.5 inches long (29 cm), including the 2 inch (5 cm) bristles.
Taklon is the common name for a smooth and soft synthetic fiber used in artist-quality paint and makeup brushes. It was originally designed to mimic the handling characteristics of natural sable. As a polyester derivative devoid of any protein component or allergen elements it is considered a vegan and allergy-free alternative to animal hair brushes.
