STAINLESS STEEL GRIP SCREWS FOR RUGER STANDARD, MARK I, II, III OR IV .22 SEMI-AUTO PISTOLS
For sale here is a set of four (4) hex-drive steel grip screws for Ruger's .22 semiauto Standard and Mark-series metal-framed pistols.  These are stainless-steel screws with hex drive sockets rather than a slot.  The proper hex wrench is included in the kit.
These are NOT for any of the 22/45 (the first model does not have replaceable grip screws) or the 22/45 RP (as it uses different screws) polymer-framed guns, and are only for the metal-framed guns.  These do not fit other Rugers - check our other listings for screws for the P-series centerfire pistols.
Unlike slotted screws, these hex screws are positively driven and less prone to having the drive area damaged by a slipped screwdriver.
The head of the screw fits within the grip's hole with very little space around it since these are factory grip screws.
The heads don't protrude outside the grip's surface when tightened, allowing them to be used with thinner grips as well, and stainless-steel provides resistance to corrosion and lubricity for the threads.  These enhance the appearance of your Ruger as well.
Look CLOSELY!  These screw heads are larger than most, nearly filling the countersunk area of your grips, unlike screws sold elsewhere by those who often copy our listing text, that are knurled on the sides and which leave more of a gap.  They are more professional in appearance as well, as they are specifically made for this purpose and the Ruger pistols listed.

Before modifying your firearm, be sure you have completely removed the magazine, unloaded the weapon and cleared it.  You cannot be too safe when handling firearms!  If you do not feel comfortable performing the work required to replace your grip screws, seek qualified help.  You are responsible for damage to your firearm, tools, etc.  Do not overtighten any grip screws, as you may damage the threads on the frame of the weapon or interfere with the proper operation of the gun.  If you're not sure what to do or how to do it, ask!  There are plenty of folks willing to help.
