    Description

RARE 8.5" Metal Havoline Tower World's Tallest Thermometer 1934 Century of Progress Exposition in Chicago.
Here is a wonderful and scarce souvenir piece from the Chicago's World's Fair of 1934.  It's  cast metal replica of the world's largest thermometer. The metal looks cast, but I don't know it's make up...we always called it "pot metal".  Has fairly good detail for it's age.  Measures just under 9 inches tall!  I believe it was sold as a souvenir to commemorate the event. It has a fine layer of oxidation which could probably be removed. There are no cracks, splits or holes.
Please look at all pictures carefully as they are part of the description. Shipping quote is for the lower 48 only. Thank you for looking and good luck bidding.
I have been away from selling for a while, but I am back now with lots of new items!
Please see my previous feedback as a seller and bid with confidence.
