Here’s a beautiful fine walnut grip for your Smith and Wesson 22A or 22S .22 caliber semiauto pistol.  These are beautiful grips, well-made and with intricate laser checkering and  a fleur-de-lis on the grip sides
.  These grips are designed to accommodate the FACTORY levers and mag release on the left side and frontstrap of the gun, and install in ONE PIECE on your pistol, secured with grip screws (the hex screws in the photo are not included, and are listed in another sale).  The finished look is beautiful on your pistol, as the grain and color of the walnut use to make these grips provides a rich hue to contrast with the style of your 22-series pistol.  These precisely-made grips align so the backstrap of the grip appears as all one piece because it IS all one piece!  These slip on your gun from the bottom after removing your existing grip(s).  We've taken photos with both ambient room light and camera flash so you can see what the grips look like in different lighting conditions.  The grips are fairly consistent in their coloring (and no stain is used on these), though the grain varies somewhat.  Check our other listings, as we have other designs available on these grips as well.
These are one-piece grips that slide on the gun's frame from the bottom.  They are wider than the standard factory grips at 1-3/8" at the middle making the middle about 6" around.  Front to back the grip area (not counting above the thumb) is about 2-1/8", making this a full-sized grip and allowing a secure grasp on the gun for those with larger hands.
These are made on modern CNC equipment by craftsmen in the United States.  The use of such technology allows us to bring these grips to you at an affordable price.  They are VERY precisely made and some minor fitting may be required as every pistol made may vary due to production tolerances.  If you are not familiar with the task of fitting such fine grips, please ask and we will be happy to help you.  No dowel pins are needed for installation of these grips, so they're easily installed on your Smith "plinker" pistol.  Make sure you know the gun you have before purchasing; if you're not sure, ask and we will help you.

ote that the leading edge of the grips has a cutout for the mag release, and there are cuts for the slide release and safety lever as well.
These grips do not come with grip screws, but we have some beautiful hex-head screw sets for your 22A or 22S in stainless- and blued-steel for sale in our other listings.  You may need longer grip screws to mount these on your gun, especially if your gun came with the hard plastic or urethane grips, and we do supply a set for the lower holes, which may be needed.  Our own hex screws are long enough to work with these grips.  Th
ese are wood grips, and S&W often used shorter screws for their pistols that came with plastic grips.  I have hex-head socket grip screws for the 22A & 22S pistols in other listings, and they are slightly longer than the original screws (if your gun came with plastic grips) to accommodate these wood grips.  They are available in either stainless- or blued-steel, and come with a hex-wrench for installation.  Please be aware that the screws on your gun may be too short to secure these grips if your current grips are the factory plastic ones.
These are for either left- or right-handed shooters, as there is only a slight thumb rest on either side's grip panel.
This is a great way to improve the appearance and handling of your gun while adding the look of fine wood to your gun.  They complement blued or stainless guns equally well.

grip for the price shown in this listing, which provide an entire grip like is shown on the gun in the photos above.  The grip shown is representative of what you'll receive; the pictures show grips taken in room light at with flash to show how the colors vary depending on lighting.  The natural color of the grips is similar between sets.  Your grip will resemble those in the pictures in checkering and such, but since each raw wood blank differs from the next, the set of grips you buy will vary to some degree in grain and coloring.
