So-Low Ultra Low -85°C Laboratory Freezer model c85-5.
This is a high quality laboratory freezer. Was removed from a Laboratory in working condition. We have not been able to fully test this unit due to the power requirements (dedicated 20amp service).
I can confirm the unit was operable when removed from the lab. The freezer powers on, all display buttons/functionality works, the compressor does kick on however, it trips the breaker in the garage shortly after.
No major dents/scratches. The cooling chamber is in good shape. No rust. Overall in really good condition.
Due to the lack of testing, I have listed this item as damaged and for parts. There is a high likelihood that it works just fine. I personally witnessed specimens being removed from the freezer while at the lab for pickup. The laboratory was just being relocated to a new building with all new equipment. I doubt it's even legal to keep specimens in a freezer that doesn't work so it's very likely it works without any issues at all. The orange masking tape on the display is only to silence the battery alarm when unplugged.
Take a chance and own a high quality ultra-low freezer for a fraction of the cost of a new one.

There's another freezer like this on ebay right now foe almost twice as much as my asking price.
