Incredible one print run only, from Apple's own negative (Henry Grossman photographer) of John Lennon during the Sgt. Pepper sessions. March 3rd 1967, working on the mono mix of Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.
the image is one of 38 that were chosen by the 3 surviving Beatles and their press officer Derek Taylor, in 1996.
The images were selected to represent significant moments in time, of the bands career from 1967 until 1969, the project was curtailed with the death of Derek in 1997.
The image is 24" wide and 20 " tall, it is printed on museum quality cotton linen stock, as with all of these images, they each have a zero to 'extremely narrow' footprint on google, this image appears to have been cleared for inclusion in a magazine titled '71 Rock', I do not believe that it has ever been printed from the original Apple owned negative other than on this occasion.
