    JOHN LENNON
    WAR IS OVER
    FABRIC SWATCH DISPLAY
    WITH 3 FILM FRAMES
    WELCOME BEATLES JOHN LENNON FANS!
Unique 3 1/2 x 5 3/4 inch by 1/2 inch thick, clear, UV protective, acrylic holder with colorful graphics War is Over card (see photo) with an actual swatch, of grey liner, from a pair of black trousers/pants worn by John in 1967. Originally acquired in the early 80's directly from Gordon Millings whose father was the owner of Millings and Son tailor shop. This was the famous tailor shop used by the Beatles, many movie stars, and other important music figures. Acquired through the British auction house of Cooper and Owen. The trousers have the original Millings and Son bevo label and the additional label with hand-written notes with a "John Lennon July 1967." After careful inspection and consideration it was determined that a small fragment of material (left by the tailor) could be removed without compromising the integrity of the trousers. The material was removed from the waist area. The removal was done by a professional seamstress. I have several of these and each swatch of material is a little different, but all will be of equal size.
The display also contains 2 actual film frames from a documentary showing John Lennon and Yoko Ono participating in a protest march and 1 film frame showing John and Yoko at their famous bed-in for peace. What a wonderful grouping! It will be the center of your John Lennon collection. This display comes with a laminated COA card on the swatch and one for the film frames. You will also receive a blue velvet like zipper case to protect your display.
A small display stand will be provided. The photo shows some camera reflection. The actual display is clear.
