The Beatles Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band Blue Drum Ornament 2010 Apple.
This is a very cool Beatles ornament. It is somewhat heavy, and I don’t think I displayed it on my “Beatles tree” but it would look great on a shelf with other Beatles or Sgt. Pepper collectibles. Still has all its brilliant color.
After you look at the pictures - here’s the story. All my ornaments were safely stored in a small attic space in our house in Oregon. Two summers ago we had a once-in-a-lifetime heat wave (thank you, climate change) and temps got up to 118 degrees (no typo there - it was that hot). All my other ornaments are fine. I’m selling all of them so they’ve all been inspected. This ornament however, was apparently in a really hot spot. The plastic case enclosing the drum turned into shrink wrap! I had a heck of a time getting the drum out of it.
The only damage to the drum is shown in the photos and described as follows: there is a tiny bit of red paint loss around the rim, and the decal on one side of the drum bubbled a bit. One side is in perfect condition and without this detailed description, no one would know it isn’t perfect. Stored in a non-smoking home.
You will also notice that the apple on one side of the outer box has discolored and is now blue. I will include the box and plastic case halves with the drum.
