The Write Thing #8 Beatles Fanzine Jan 1975 Harrison Concert Tour Sgt. Pepper

(Be sure to check out all 10 pictures of the item in this auction) This auction is for issue Year 1, Issue #8 of The Write Thing by Barb Fenick from December, 1974/January, 1975. Early issues of this great fanzine are hard-to-find. (The newsletter mentions that they as of Dec. 30 they had 235 members, so most likely LESS than 300 issues of this were printed back in 1975. The newsletter measures 8-1/2" x 14" and is stapled together in the upper left hand corner and then folded in half for mailing. (This one has two staples, so maybe the original owner had put another staple in.) The last page would be blank on the back except for the address label of the subscriber and postage stamps with a postmark. This is may ne missing an non-numbered photo page cover, as most of the other issues have one. This issue has 25 numbered pages. Some of the contents in this issue include: Letters from members; 5 pages on the Harrison concert tour; a page on Meet the Fans about Write Things members who met in Chicago to go to the Harrison concert; Paul interview from Melody Maker; live recording review; Mike McGear's new album; John Lennon interview on Milwaukee's WZMF; Sgt. Pepper premiere on Broadway, and more. and more. The newsletter is in good, used condition - it is folded, as issued - it has a light horizontal crease from being folded again - it was folded in half for mailing and held together by three pieces of tape on the front going to the back so there are tape marks on the outer page and stamps and cancellation marks - there is a 1" vertical tear/split on the bottom edge of address label page - three items on the "Foto Sales" page are circled - there are some other wrinkles, small creases, light wear.
