(Be sure to check out all 11 pictures of the item in this auction) This auction is for issue #9 of The Write Thing by Barb Fenick from March/April 1975. Early issues of this great fanzine are hard-to-find. (The newsletter mentions that they have just gone over 300 members, so most likely LESS than 400 issues of this were printed back in 1975. The newsletter measures 8-1/2" x 14" and is stapled together in the upper left hand corner and then folded in half for mailing. The last page would be blank on the back except for the address label of the subscriber and postage stamps with a postmark. This issue has 31 numbered pages + the George Harrison cover page. Some of the contents in this issue include: Letters from members; Barb Fenick writes a little intro of who she is and how she got into the Beatles; letters from readers; 4 pages with photos about Paul in New Orleans recording; 3 pages on "George - Ten Years Part III" by Kris Spackman; Members comment on Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club on the Road" show; 2 pages on trying to keep Lennon from deportation from the U.S.;; Meet the Fans; an interview of Paul from Disc; Sweet Apple Trax review; British reviews of "Dark Horse"; George Harrison concert reviews, and more. The newsletter is in good, used condition - it is folded, as issued - it was folded in half for mailing and held together by four pieces of tape on the front going to the back so there is tape/tape marks on the outer page and stamps and cancellation marks - the bottom edge and first few pages have some wear at the bottom - the edges of the front cover have some wear - the find-a-word puzzle has the words circled - six items on the "Foto Sales" page are circled - there are some other wrinkles, small creases, light wear and edge wear.
