Timothy Richards is renowned for making the finest architectural models, made in the traditions of the historical modelmakers.
His are Architectural Models, handmade in hard English Plaster and finishes into what has become recognized as high art.
While Mr. Richards does produce limited public offerings, his forte is in creating Historical Architectural models with exacting scale and detail for Museums, Libraries, and Commercial Enterprises. This is a replica of a simple home in Salisbury England.
This is one of the series of existing house houses.
Many of the properties do belong to famous historical figure and they all are classic representatives of an architectural style.
This one is called Reddish House in Broad Chalke, which is in Wiltshire just west of Salisbury UK.
It was built in the early part of the 18
th
century and shows a distinctive Wren influence.
It is not still available; as far as I have been able to find out it is no longer being made and not in stock.
This model measures 4.5” wide X 2.5” deep X 5.5” tall, and is made of hand carved hard English plaster.
