Before there were fancy scopes that do everything but talk, real men used range finders like our Trailblazer 19TH Century Range Finder. This authentic reproduction range finder is based on an object height of six feet and is incremented from 50 to 800 yards. To find the yardage hold range finder in on hand, place the knot at your lips or hold between your teeth, pull the string tight and move slide until your object touches the top and bottom of the window. Then read the yardage from the scale. It has a solid brass construction with a slide and the exact length of twine string attached to take your measurements. At only 3”x 1 1/4”, it’s compact and lightweight so that it takes up almost no room in your gear or backpack.
