  • Condition: The 1952 booklet is very good condition, no tears, stains or added notations., all pages attached with 2 original staples. The 1933 booklet has wear on the spine, a small taped area, rubbed spot on front cover, bumped corners of cover and some pages. All pages attached with original staples. Small light stain on last 2 pages. The older booklet definetely has scars from a lot of use.

    Description

    Offered are TWO Knox Gelatine recipe booklets "Knox Gelatine Recipe Book Eat and Reduce Plan" published in 1952, a 6 1/2" x 5" with 40 pages (the front and back covers are counted as pages). in very good condition.  The booklet offers meal plans and recipes for "growing slimmer without growing hungrier".   A calorie chart is included along with many gelatine salad and soup recipes.  The only color illustrations are on the front and back covers.  The older booklet "Knox Gelatine Desserts Salads Candie and Frozen Drinks" was published in 1933.  It is 4 1/2" x 6 1/2" with 72 pages, the covers are counted as pages.  Included are many full color illustrations of the prepared foods, really lovely lithography done in the U.S.A.  The Charles B. Knox Company published many handsome linformative recipe booklets as advertising.  First Class postage will be .00 for anywhere in the United States.
