We are offering this fantastic set of vintage ArtSign, top of the line, Artist Paint Brushes, of the Finest Natural Hair, at least from the 60’s, and maybe even earlier. They are probably Sable, as they predate synthetic hairs, but they are unlabeled.
The 545 series # 8.
They are marked, “Series 545” and carry the “ArtSign” logo.
These are premium quality brushes ~ used for fine arts. NO fake synthetic bristles here!

Natural hair bristles of the highest quality, which hold a large volume of paint and has that snap-back quality. These brushes satisfy every demand in watercolor, gouache, calligraphy, and Indian-ink painting. Returns to a point at the tip as only the best sable can. Excellent for watercolor, gouache, illustration, animation, restoration and rendering, as well.
Genuine painted-wooden handles.
Measures approx. 8” long.
Excellent Condition- Barely, if ever, used. The luxurious hairs are clean, soft, and supple.
