Weekend Project VHF radio station

Description

Enjoy building VHF HAM radio transceiver with this easy to build KIT. Name "Weekend Project VHF radio station" comes from the fact that a person with basic soldering skills can solder this KIT during one weekend (typically in one afternoon).
DRA818 SMD module is already pre-soldered.
All the other components are all Through hole components (THT). KIT includes all components on the PCB and enclosure (microphone not included!). Buttons are made of Aluminum (
not cheap plastic
!). All what's required is microphone, suitable VHF antenna, PSU and you can be on the band!
Weekend Project VHF radio station is an FM transceiver which has Simplex & Repeater mode of work, but it also offers Free-set frequency setting with CTCSS included.
Simplex & Repeater channels are programmed via Free PC SW with USB/Serial adapter. All radios are preprogrammed with some Simplex/Repeater channels that customers can reprogram as required. PC program can be freely downloaded from GitHub. Search there for Weekender by S52CQ.
