This Size # 10 Series 7 brush is new old stock and there are some broken bristles around the outside near the ferrule.  The brush still points nicely and there is a lot of use remaining.   There is some discoloration on the ferrule as shown in the photos, however this will in no way affect the performance.
Series 7 needs no introduction, but suffice to say they have the reputation of one of the very finest, best made watercolor brush in the world.  It is no secret that Winsor & Newton strives to keep that quality.  Each and every Series brush is made by hand, from the extremely selective process of the hair pelts, seamless nickel plated ferrules (rust-proof) to every step of the handmade process.  Own the finest performance brush in the world and see for yourself.
